Last year over 64,000 Americans died from drug overdoses, many for the simple reason that they could not afford the help they needed. Many of these deaths would have easily been prevented had they been afforded a second chance.

Every 19 minutes someone dies of a drug overdose.
Most of these overdoses are from prescription opioids.

Unfortunately not everyone can get the help they need when it comes to substance use disorder (SUD). Many suffer needlessly because they do not have the financial means necessary to get help, and more often than not the their loved ones (wives, husbands, children, and partners) suffer needlessly.

The Second Chance Foundation scholarship program is dedicated to identifying qualified individuals and providing them with the financial support they need to get help. Our rigorous qualification process ensures that candidates not only qualify financially but also committed to the process and ready to start a new life; a life worth living.
